That photo of the dessert in the jar had ...WOWSERS! That photo of the dessert in the jar had me jumping up and down. STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS! I want every detail of that dessert!<br />Yes, florentines hail, they say, from Austria. I think they are somehow related to the Hapsburg family as the fleur d'lis is known as a symbol of France, and Florence (Firenza)... because of them...and the mother's main house was in Austria. I have a recipe for them that I love on my site that I make every year at Christmas. They are finicky, but when done, there is a nice sized batch of them done. <br />Everyone says panna cotta is so easy. One thing I know. Despite its moderate thickness, the mango gelee has brought such strong accent to the whole presentation.
